[ 02 ]Why it is hard
The challenge value is single-use and expires within seconds of page load, so it has to be fetched fresh for every attempt and the whole solve must finish inside that window. GeeTest scores the full mouse trajectory: acceleration, jitter and the overshoot before release, not just the final x-offset. A mathematically correct drop position moved along a straight line still fails.
[ 03 ]How we solve it
A dedicated GeeTest worker pool takes gt and challenge, pulls the current background and slice images, and locates the notch with a model retrained on live v3 traffic. The drag path is generated per solve from recorded human traces rather than replayed from one curve. Sites that pin the widget to their own api subdomain are handled by passing geetestApiServerSubdomain with the task.

Usually not. v3 validation is bound to the challenge value, not to the address that produced it, so GeeTestTaskProxyless covers most sites. Switch to GeeTestTask with your own proxy only when the target ties the session cookie issued alongside the widget to an IP.
v3 keys off the gt and challenge pair and returns challenge, validate and seccode. v4 keys off captcha_id and returns lot_number, pass_token, gen_time and captcha_output. They are separate request shapes, so v3 parameters sent to a v4 widget fail every time. Search the page source for captcha_id to tell which one you are on.
