One appId serves five challenge modes chosen by risk score, so a pipeline that only handles the slider dies the moment Tencent escalates to click order or audio. Tencent scores trajectory and dwell time rather than the endpoint alone. Traffic from outside mainland China is escalated to the harder modes far more often, which is the actual reason offshore success rates on this type run low.

The Tencent pool carries a separate model per mode, slider, character order and shape click, plus a transcription path for the audio fallback, so a mid-session escalation does not require a different task type from you. Requests exit from addresses matched to the region the scene expects, which keeps the widget on its easier modes. A mode no model recognises escalates to a human worker.

Yes. 防水墙, the waterproof wall, is the older brand name and is still what most Chinese documentation and search traffic uses. Tencent Cloud now sells it as T-Sec 天御 验证码 / TenDI. One task type covers both, and you only need the appId.
ticket and randstr. Post both exactly where your page posts them; Tencent validates server side against the appId. The ticket is single-use and short-lived, so submit it in the same request cycle rather than caching it.
TencentTaskProxyless covers most sites. Use TencentTask with your own proxy when the target binds its session to your IP, otherwise the ticket validates correctly and the form still rejects you, which looks like a captcha failure but is not one.
4.49 USD per 1,000 successful solves, failures not billed. Median 6.0 seconds, 95th percentile 13.6 seconds, 98.7% success on live traffic. Audio escalations sit at the slow end of that distribution.
