[ 02 ]Why it is hard
atbCAPTCHA is deployed per customer, so there is no fixed endpoint: both an appId and an apiServer host have to be read off the page, and operators routinely move apiServer onto their own domain. The challenge itself is ordinary slider and character-click work; the integration is what breaks. Its deployment base is gaming, payment and betting sites, which tend to run aggressive IP filtering in front of the widget.

Send appId and apiServer with the task and the pool talks to whichever host the site is actually using, self-hosted ones included. Slider offset and character order run on the same models as the generic slider and click types, which is why this type sits a tier below the Chinese vendor captchas on price. No proxy is needed for the token itself.

atbCAPTCHA is self-hosted, so the script origin differs per site. apiServer is the host the page loads the widget from, visible in the network tab as the origin of the captcha script, often something like cap.aisecurius.com or a subdomain of the site itself. Without it the pool has no endpoint to fetch the challenge from.
2.18 USD per 1,000 successful solves against 4.49 for the Chinese vendor captchas. The underlying work is generic slider offset and character ordering, which the existing models already cover; there is no per-vendor behavioural model to maintain.
Median 5.2 seconds, 95th percentile 11.9 seconds, 99.0% success on live traffic. Character-click rounds sit at the slower end because the order has to be returned as a coordinate sequence.
Not for the token. AtbCaptchaTaskProxyless is the normal request. The sites that deploy this type often filter by address at the page level, so if your requests are being blocked before the widget loads, that is a proxy problem in your scraper rather than a captcha problem.
