[ 01 ]What it looks like

A jigsaw slide, a dodge-the-obstacle mini-game, a character-click panel or a silent check.

[ 02 ]Why it is hard

The dodge-the-obstacle and spatial-reasoning modes are gameplay, not classification: there is no single answer to read off the image, the round has to be played. NetEase generates its character glyphs procedurally, so OCR trained on a fixed font set does not transfer. The Enterprise tier adds challenge, hcg and hct parameters and can pin the widget to a per-customer API subdomain, so the integration is not identical from site to site.

[ 03 ]How we solve it

Yidun tasks route to a pool that plays the interactive modes instead of trying to classify them, while the slider and character-click cases go to models, where classification does work. Glyph models are retrained on live Yidun traffic because the generator itself keeps changing. Enterprise deployments are handled by passing challenge, hcg and hct through with the task, plus yidunApiServerSubdomain when the site hosts the widget on its own domain.

NECaptchaValidate, the validate string your page posts alongside the form. It is bound to the captcha id you sent and is single-use, so a token held over from an earlier request will be rejected even though it looks well formed.

Only on the Enterprise tier, where those three appear in the page’s init call. If you cannot find them in the page source, you are on the standard tier and websiteURL plus websiteKey is the whole request.

Yes, but by playing it rather than reading it. Those rounds route to human workers, which is why the distribution is wider than a pure slider type: median 6.2 seconds, 95th percentile 14.1 seconds, 98.5% success. Failed solves are not billed.

Different vendors with overlapping mode sets. Yidun leans on interactive mini-games that have no extractable answer; Tencent leans on slider and character order and escalates by IP reputation. Separate task types, same rate, and a site running both needs both.
