[ 01 ]What it looks like

A full-page interstitial with a slide-to-fit puzzle in an iframe from captcha-delivery.com.

[ 02 ]Why it is hard

What you need is a datadome cookie, not a form token, and that cookie is bound to the IP and user agent that earned it. Replay it from a different exit and it is dead on the first request. The iframe src carries a t parameter: t=fe is a solvable challenge, t=bv means the IP is already banned and no amount of solving changes the outcome, which makes proxy quality the dominant cost driver rather than recognition accuracy.

[ 03 ]How we solve it

The task carries your proxy and userAgent, and the challenge is completed through that exact exit, so the datadome cookie we return is already valid for your next request. Slider models are retrained on live traffic because DataDome rotates its puzzle assets. A t=bv URL is detected and returned as a proxy-banned failure instead of being solved and billed.

Post the task, get the token. Our SDKs collapse creation, polling and retries into one call.

Questions about this one

$2.18 per 1,000 accepted solves, against a $1.45 benchmark at 2Captcha on 2026-09-22. Failed tasks are not billed. Median return is 8.9s and p95 is 21.0s, which is slower than a widget type because the challenge runs through your proxy.

Yes, and it is not optional. The datadome cookie is issued against the IP that solved the challenge, so we have to solve from your exit or the cookie is useless to you. Send the same proxy and userAgent you will use for the follow-up request.

Check the captchaUrl you passed. If it contains t=bv the IP is hard-blocked and there is no solvable puzzle on the page at all. Rotate to a cleaner proxy pool; residential or mobile exits usually come back as t=fe and solve normally.

Typically around an hour of normal browsing, but DataDome re-scores on every request and will re-challenge early if the request pattern looks off. Keep the request rate and header order stable and reuse one cookie across a session rather than solving per request.
