Who this is for
Pentest firms, red teams, bug-bounty researchers working inside a published programme, and WAF engineers stress-testing their own rules. Every engagement starts from a scope document or a programme page that names the hosts in scope. The output is a report someone will read against a deadline.
The problem
A bot-management rule set cannot be validated without driving traffic through the challenge it serves: you have to be able to pass it to see what is behind it. Manual solving does not scale to an authenticated crawl of a few thousand endpoints, and skipping the challenged ones leaves a blind spot exactly where the customer assumed they were covered. The report then understates the surface.

Written authorisation from the system owner, or a published bug-bounty programme that lists the target in scope. Keep the scope document with the engagement record; we may ask for it.
Only inside a scope you are authorised for. Testing outside an authorised scope is not a grey area for us, and the key is suspended.
The origin validates the token or the cookie, so the request that follows looks like a passed challenge. Fingerprint, TLS behaviour and headers are still yours to control and still part of what you are testing.
Every task is logged against the key with its type and a timestamp. Use one key per engagement so the log lines up with the report you deliver.
